Call for Abstracts
We encourage the submission of abstracts for all topics in the field of Visual Illusions.
Abstracts will be reviewed for the presentation either as posters or as oral communications. The accepted contributions will be included in the abstract volume, which will be distributed to all participants at the beginning of the conference.
Deadline for abstract submission: 1st April 2011
Abstract Submission Guidelines
- Abstract format: Please prepare your abstract as a Word document (extensions .doc or docx), as a Richtext document (.rtf) or as a plain text document (.txt). - Using the form below you can submit it to the abstract server of the conference.
- In the case of Word or Richtext format, it is crucial that you use the abstract template. There you will find the instructions how to format your document correctly.
- The abstracts will be published as submitted. Please check thoroughly before submission.
- The length of the abstract should not exceed [nnn] words. In Word 2007 the length is displayed constantly at the bottom of the window, in former versions you can check it by calling “File – Properties – Statistics”.
- The abstract text itself may neither contain the abstract title nor the author(s). Please specify both separately in the submission form below.
- List of authors:
- One author per line (then <ENTER>).
- The author at the first position is regarded as the main author.
- Please use the following sequence for each author: last name, followed by a comma, then the first name initial/s. Finally the institution and city, both separated by a comma and enclosed by round brackets (see examples below).
- If there are two or more consecutively listed authors from the same institution and city, please specify institution and city only for the last of them.
- Do not write in upper cases! Please use capitals only for the first letter of a name or noun etc.
- Please use the following outline, if applicable:
- State the objectives of the study
- State the method used
- Summarize the results
- State the conclusions reached
